BRASS THIEF ARRESTED ! An hour after a Westubury Road resident reported that brass letters had been
stolen from her outside wall, ADT Armed Response Officer Daniel Petersen apprehended a man in Sandown Road delivering the Tatler newspaper. On investigation he found the brass letters as well as brass post box covers and other items in his bag. He handed the man over to Rondebosch SAPS. If you have had any brass items stolen today, please would you contact the Rondebosch SAPS a.s.a.p. Tel: 021 685 7345 or W O Roberts on 079 894 1219. Please also note that the Tatler 'con man' with the letter claiming to collect for fire victims, has been in the Rondebosch area again. Should he come to our area, please call the SAPS sector van, as the letter has a Mowbray SAPS stamp, which should be queried.
