I popped in yesterday and spoke with the manager. I informed her of the problem and told her their was garbage lying on the pavement - she sent someone out to sort it out but when I had left not a thing had been done.
The claim is there is no space to leave the bins on the premises. This is not true in my opinion as there is a gateway to an area at the die of the establishment and possibly at the back too. I suspect they could not be bothered - why I am not sure as the manager claimed they had already had bins stolen. Seems they are having rubbish collected more than once a week but they could not really say which day/days were their official collection days. Apparently Fiona is away till next week, I can ask that she try and keep her bins off street - their must be some kind of by-law that applies - those bins block the pavement and cause a nuisance for example. If they refuse to compromise and take the bins in then the next step would be to put in a complaint to the council via the C3 system I suppose.
