Crime has picked up again - so take care. * Robbery with firearm 1 - Bishop * Robbery with other weapon 2 - Howe street, Liesbeeck Park * Theft of motor vehicles 2 - Kotzee and Liesbeek * Theft out of motor vehicles 2 - Wesley, James, Hartleyvale, Ash SIMPLE REMINDERS 1. When a neighbour's alarm goes off - take notice and if necessary, call the neighbour, Vetas Schola or armed response. 2. Try to get a really good description of criminals/suspects. However a colourful garment is a well known ploy, reversible hoody or hat or scarf. 3. HIGH WALLS DO NOT KEEP PEOPLE OUT! There are some extremely agile and resourceful people about. High walls just conceal intruder's movements once they are over. 4. DO HAVE the fast reaction numbers to hand in your cell phone(see below for SAPS and VS) PATROLS WITH OUR DOGS AND THE POLICE With the approach of summer we are commencing patrols with the Police again. There will the first foot patrol with the Police this Friday the 15th at 19:00, setting off from the Pepper Square (Spar) Car Park. These walks around Obs are delightful, informative and you meet interesting people. As always there will be free parking and a free drink available afterwards at "A Touch of Madness".
