I was around early-ish last night in the abovementioned area. And noted the level of pee-ing going on openly in Station Rd. I'm talking around 8 pm-ish. One black guy was very drunkenly staggering on the pavement up Station (from opposite Barmooda) clasping his willy with both hands & pee-ing uninhibitedly as he headed up towards cnr James St/Station Rd. No bashfulness here re display of his genitalia - no need to face a wall/tree/whatever.....
I called for VS who didn't respond. Really sorry this wasn't captured on camera. He wasn't the only guy to be drunk & disorderly around 8 pm either - there were numerous others urinating publicly and the level of drunkenness was unsettling. Is it my imagination or are things getting worse in this area relatively earlier at night ? Which brings to mind the earlier days of Vetus Schola in our midst. I saw a Zero-tolerance attitude to drug dealers / people causing a disturbance / folk urinating/defaecating (sp?) in public. Vetus Schola seemed to me to be everywhere and very, very active in dealing with this stuff.
