Clearly enforcement has to wait until the legislation has been gazetted. A lawyer tells me that will be on the 15th. The point I am trying to make is that the legislation is going through and we should be grateful for all the effort that has gone into making it happen. It will be a hard battle to bring about full compliance. A number of businesses selling liquor in Obs do not yet comply with current legislation! I should make it clear that I am not political. I just support whoever brings about action I consider worthwhile. I omitted to mention a continuing thank you to our team of residents who are doing so much to highlight the current situation and instances were the law is broken. I feel that the support of all residents is needed.
