On Friday 21 January, just after 5pm a young colleague of mine (Simankele, 20 years old) was sitting at the bus stop on Main Road. 2 guys came and sat either side of him - also "waiting" for a bus. Shortly thereafter, one pulled out a knife and the other frisked him. The thugs got away with 2 cellphones and his wallet. The wallet was later found in the gutter in Roman Road - money missing but bank cards and monthly bus ticket still in it. Sima ran to VS offices and tells me that they more than went the extra mile to assist him. Scary...........
