Hi Biddy, DATA-DOT places stickers on the windows of cars that have been "treated". There are so many thousands upon thousands of these 'nano-dots' sprayed onto a vehicle that it greatly facilitates finding -
(a) that a vehicle / or part of a vehicle is stolen property; (b) the owner of the vehicle (owner's details to be found on every dot). To date it is simply not possible to rid a vehicle of the many thousands of owner-revealing dots. Engine / car chassy / everything is covered in dots.
