Good news from the SAPS online Journal....

An oil trail that was caused by the leakage from a stolen motor
vehicle led the police to the house of the suspect where he was
arrested on Saturday, 6 February 2010.

A stripped, burnt-out VW Golf was found on the corners of Joe Slovo
and Samora Machel Streets. It had been reported stolen in Coventry
Road in Walmer Estate in Woodstock..

When the police arrested the criminals, all the stolen parts that had
been removed from the vehicle, were recovered.

The 33-year-old suspect, Bulelani Qwesha, was charged with the theft
of a motor vehicle. He was found guilty in the Woodstock Magistrates'
Court. He was sentenced to six years' imprisonment on Monday, 7
February 2011.
