Subject: Voting - what you need to know...

Dear neighbours,

There are various emails doing the rounds, with conflicting advice about
what to expect and/or check for when you vote on Wednesday.

Here with a summary of the key things you need to know:

. Polling stations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

. You MUST vote where you are registered

. Take your green bar-coded ID book - the only document that will be
recognised

. When you are issued with your ballot papers, see that they are stamped on
the back

. You are issued with 2 ballot papers - one for the ward councillor and one
for the
   political party of your choice

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ELECTION. Please make every effort to vote & please
encourage all friend & family to do the same

Please note that if your ballot papers are NOT stamped on the back then they
will be regarded as spoilt papers and your vote will not be counted.

Regards,

David
