This is a first for me. We received this message from a UCT student. No joke! If anyone you know removed a GPS from any cats, drop me a line and I will re-unite the GPS and the student.
I am an Honours student at the University of Cape Town currently attempting to do a project on the movement of domestic cats in the Observatory area associated with their movement into the Two Rivers Urban Park, a conservancy in the area. Unfortunately I found out the hard way that the area is ridden with thieves since they stole all the GPS's that I am using to track my cats with, from their collars. Could you please provide me with any help or information. I basically need to start my data collection all over again and lost some valuable data as well as my equipment in Obz.
