Hi Luca I share your problem. Today around 4.30 pm the last piece copper pipe, approx 300mm long was removed from the front garden. The 'skabenga' then jumped onto our black bin, jumped over the wall, and removed approx 5 meter of 19 mm thick copper pipe from the yard area side. He disrupted two water feed-offs from the pipe, opened the gate to the garden, and marched out, gone. A grey blanket was left behind, probably what they use to wrap pipes etc in. It took me approx three hours in the colsd and wet to repair the old type copper piping replacing it with the pollycop red type pipe. Eishhhhh. Last week I had to jump over a residents wall in Sussex Road to turn their water main off as their water pipe was stolen. Two weeks before that I turned off the water main in Nuttall road and nearly apprehended the culprit, unfortunately my radio's battery ran flat and I lost contact with our VS who came to assist. Regards James
