I am writing to express my gratitude to David and Liyanda who, whilst patrolling on 6th May this year, apprehended a man who had attempted to steal my car on Nuttall Street in Observatory. David and Liyanda were very kind to me and called the police on my behalf so that a statement could be taken. Today the case went to the Magistrate's Court and both David and Liyanda were there to give their testimony despite the fact that they had been up all night on a night shift and today was their day off. I am most grateful to them for their service, care, and cheerful attitude through all of this. It is a very comforting thought that they ( as well as the rest of the team) are patrolling our neighborhoods and working to ensure our safety.
