The suspected drug dealing white Golf CA87815 was originally noticed early
July by Obs public members along top of Polo, Scott, Trill and Bowden Roads,
often in some exchange of sorts. SAPS was informed.
Since, the White Golf was linked to the murder along Bedford Road but was
found, that the previous owner a white couple were responsible for the
murder, they were given bail and have to do drug rehab until their case
comes up.
The suspected drug deal along Cook street involving a taxi driver was since
reported as below.
Two weeks ago, public members again informed a SAPS vehicle of the white
Golf's presence around. Fifteen minutes later SAPS found the white Golf in
Victoria Road, they done a stop and search on them, found 3 tik and a few
other drug substances, two occupants were arrested, sniffer dogs were
employed, but suspects were given R500 bail the next day, and back on the
road again.
The white Golf was again noticed a few times presumably dealing, were
reported to SAPS, plans were made but delays prevented SAPS actions to
follow.
Today the issue was raised in the minutes of a Joints SAPS meeting, SAPS
done a preliminary investigation at the known residential street address,
saw the two suspects flee into the house and something being stashed out
from the window, but unfortunately the suspects escaped out the back door of
the premises.
The dumped items were found to be a good stash of drugs.
The one assailant was soon arrested in a residence nearby, the other one to
be hopefully apprehended soon by SAPS. VS was informed by SAPS to be on the
look out.
