Hi Dee, or Dana, Or Debra or ... D While we as ONW commenced a patrol last night, 4 Oct at 10.30 pm, going though Lytton from Scott Road, I noticed the bonnet of a (greyish?) Toyota conquest slightly open standing in front of No 5 Lytton, the vehicle has much rust on it. As I did no know who the car belonged to, I requested VS to investigate the possibility of a stolen battery. On proceeding further to Milton, we stopped off at the Green Elephant as they reported a battery stolen just prior to out start of patrol, and SPS was bsuy taking a statemernt there as well as VS vehicle members. I told both to investigate the matter, but did not ask either for feedback afterwards. I know SAPS definitely turned to go there, but was not sure obout VS. So the time I noticed this was approx 11 pm Pity about your loss as well.
Please note my response to the previous email re reporting the matter to SAPS 10111, to VS 021 447 1066, and also the major need to get more eyes onboard our roads and homes.
