*A Touch of Madness* have been supporting the ONW over two years already by way of offering a free drink to ONW patrollers who have participated on a Wednesday or a Friday night on patrol with SAPS, Obs Residents and their dogs. This has always been a nice and quaint way of completing a patrol, the ONW is much appreciative to the owner, Andrew and his staff, for their pleasant support and good company.
*The Green Elephant* has given ONW patrollers the offer of eating as many pitzas as one likes on a Thursday night at a cost of R40.00, and was implemented during our October " I Cannot Resist a Patrol" patrols. Their usual Thursday night pitza rate is R50.00 - eat till you drop. What is also nice of Howard, the owner of GE, is that on any night or day on completion of a patrol we can group up at their place and have a free cup of hot coffee or tea. It is not compulsory to close our patrol there but it is sure nice, especially on a cold windy night - thanks Howard! With keys now flying left and right for child or dog park, *Cape Key and Locksmiths* also came to the fore on Monday to offer keys cut by them at a discounted price for ONW members. Should you have to find the services of a locksmith to open your car or home after a break in or due to keys that were lost, they would offer you a special price. The ONW have placed a two way radio at their establishment a few months ago in order to engage in their vigilance to report and watch out for crime, and thus VS foot patrollers regularly have to sign off the rounds book that were placed at their workshop.
