I live in Arnold street, and yes, there are parts that are a bit weedy.

I had a tree on my sidewalk, then it started falling over, so council removed it, but the hole in the sidewalk is still there, and weeds growing out of it. I was keeping it clean for a while, but its a pitstop for everyone walking their dog, quite funny coz the tree is gone. So now I'm just leaving it, not pleasant to pull out weeds surrounded by poop from various dogs.

Who can I contact to come and close the hole, ie. tar it like the rest of the sidewalk. The guys that chopped the tree down said its not their department.

Cheers,
Piet

Thanks Rosemary! We've spent some time on the one side of Arnold Street and still need to get to the other side. Anyone is welcome to pull out weeds! ;)

        Hi Kurt,

My apologies for assuming you were referring the the /state of
the pavements- e.g. /the structural state.

OBSID does indeed clean each road at least once a week. On a
Monday and Friday the team tend to additional work - such as
the Lower main road area. - Please see the attached schedule.

Could you please let me know what specifically on the
        pavements is the issue?

We have Robins Road on our Weeding list. To note; Council has
sprayed some weeds and are to complete - thus we are still
spading them off until we get them all.

Has the cleaning in general been poor in this area? Our
cleaners are tasked to clean sidewalks and roads (including
the green areas in public spaces) and pick up leaves, rubbish,
        dog-poo etc.

        Thanks,

            Hi Ancois
I was under the impression that the CID was beautifying
and cleaning the pavements. I see green bags on street
corners with foliage and dirt in them left by the
improvement district people but I have not seen them in
Robins Rd for a while now.
Is there a roster that the cleaners follow so that we may
keep tabs as to when our street will be next?

            Hi all,

Doug is correct - I can report these faults to Council for
            repair.

Unfortunately OBSID can not repair these faults and we
keep applying pressure for Council to repair. Please feel
