I wonder if anyone can help with this - I've noticed a fenced-off parking area under the Station Road bridge on the Hartleyvale side - as there seem to be a lot of problems with car batteries/spare wheels etc being stolen off parked cars would it not help the residents in that area (Ivy/Oak) to be able to park their cars safely inside there? who do they approach to obtain permission. i've heard from a tenant renting a room in the house opposite (not sure what number it is) in Ivy street that her secure parking place is 'included in the rent'. i'm sure there are people who would willingly pay a stipend towards safe parking.
Who owns that space and who do we contact? is it council owned? if so does anyone know which department to contact?
