In broad daylight a brazen thief or thiefs broke off the wooden shutters from my house on the corner of Scott and Cook Street - a street-facing window (on Cook Street) without anyone in the neighbourhood seeing or hearing or noticing anything!
This happened between -1- 2 pm this afternoon. I got a call from ADT saying that my alarm went off at my house. The sash window which has burglar bars on the inside, was open but luckily nothing stolen. I would have had to replace them soon, but now I am forced to do it rather sooner than later… If anyone tries to sell you a pair of dark green wooden shutters (fairly dilapated) please contact me!
