Hi Lisa *Thanks for confirming that the 'peer in' hand and face marks are still visible on the Landrover*. *I will give SAPS your contact details to come check out the vehicle for possible fingerprints.*
The following was reported quite incidentally this evening concerning Dane Street: On Sunday morning at approx 07.30 a coloured male, rough looking face, gangster type appearance was walking down Dane Street. He was seen trying to unlock two cars, driver side door, using a bunch of keys he had on him. He wore blue jeans, a red collared shirt, dark leather jacket, and a multicoloured balaclava,. age around 35/40 years of age. He was apparently not the type of person one wants to run into and the observer thus tried to avoid eye contact with the 'gangster'. Unfortunately the observer did not have a means of communication at hand in order to contact to VS or SAPS, and forgotten to report it any sooner. The bunch of keys carrying person has been reported of before as seen in Observatory, but does this description seem to be the same? *However, This email will be sent off to SAPS for attention to Sergeant Andreas, re information to SAPS and VS and in being alert to this would be car break in suspect.* Much thanks for your information and observations, let's see what happens. My landrover has "peer in" hand and face marks on all the windows. But not harmed, but the car next to mine and 2 others weren't so fortunate. Not sure if the matters have been reported. Also of Thurs afternoon, some brazen hooman broke into a car 2 cars south of A Touch of Madness on broad daylight. Just out of sight of the people sitting on the patio. Was about 4pm. Matter was reported to Police. These smash and grabs are becoming an epidemic.
