Incident Type: Arrest Date and Time: 2012/02/21 09:00:00 PM Location: Huxley Drive, Zone: Meadowridge - DR Incident Text: When a BKM volunteer patroller arrived at the garage, he was approached by a man who asked if he was part of the NW. On replying affirmative, the man requested assistance. He said that he was a Noordhoek NW patroller, and had recognised a transvestite standing at the traffic lights as being a person allegedly wanted in Noordhoek for Assault and Theft. He said he recognised the transvestite from a wanted poster circulated on their NW system. After apprehending the suspect transvestite, Diepriver SAPS was called to the scene. Once SAPS had ascertained the Noordhoek case number on which this person was allegedly wanted, the transvestite was detained and taken to the holding cells pending investigation by the relevant investigating officer. A great example of different NW groups working together.
