Tuesday 21 Feb 18:45 a theft out of motor vehicle was observed and prevented by a resident.
A red car was parked in James Street just off Station Road and about to be broken into if it was not for the residents seeing the suspect in red top. The immediately called OPS Control Room at T 021 447-1066 and whilst he gotten away he must have left Observatory very rapidly. Thanks to the eyes and ears of one residents this and possibly other mischiefs were prevented. Thank you on behalf of all 2500 residents. You made a difference.
