  5 SUSPECTS  ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY BUSINESS 



  On Monday (2012-02- 27) at about 05:00 , the Woodstock police arrested four 
men age between 26 and 36 years old and a 28 year old women  in Lower Main road 
Observatory, for  a Housebreaking and theft incident that was committed at one 
of the Internet cafes’ situated in the Lower Main road .   



  The arrest follows during scheduled crime prevention patrols, when police 
members noticed an Silver Honda Ballade vehicle driving without lights in Lower 
Main road . The members immediately stopped the  vehicle with four occupants 
inside . During a searching of the vehicle , police recovered two flat screen 
tv’s , three Lcd monitors , two play stations ,three computer monitors , four 
iPods’  and two laptops . We also confiscated a bolt cutter , grinder and screw 
drivers , that was used to gain entry to the premises , in the possession of 
the suspects . A  fifth suspect  was arrested in a secondary vehicle ,used by 
the suspects to transport the stolen goods , at a vehicle check point .



  A preliminary investigation revealed that one of the Internet café shops 
situated in Lower Main road , was broken into, just meters from where the 
suspects was arrested.

  All the reported stolen items were returned to the owner .



  The five suspects in custody , will appear in the Cape Town magistrates’ 
court tomorrow (Wednesday 2012-02-29) and face charges related to Housebreaking 
and theft , Possession of stolen property and the Possession of break-in 
implements .
