this is not a bribe but i found it odd: when i inquired about taking a baz bus trip a few months ago i was given the price, and told i had to pay a petrol tax of about R70. i said that was odd as only the government is allowed to actually implement a tax. she insisted. perhaps the person used the wrong word?
