This is good news but remember having used similar words of encouragements
about 1.5 year ago and not much happened in between.

To add to James' excellent tips:-

   - Park - if possible - in a well lighted area.
   - Leave all cubbyholes open (unless it holds valuables - which it
   shouldn't)
   - Invest in a good alarm system and immobiliser.
   - Get to know your neighbours and exchange contact details.
   - Many car breakers are smartly dressed and don't look like criminals.
   - Don't delay to phone OPS 021 447-1066 if you have any suspicion
   whatsoever.
   - Report each and every loss to the COPS and OPS to increase patrols
   where warranted

April records: 53 car owners suffered losses and inconveniences.

37 Car were broken into.

16 Car were stolen.

That is nearly 2 each day
