Dear all,
We receive continuous reports from foreigners that they get 'scammed' at
the ATMs.
For those of you whom are service providers to foreigners - be it lodging
/students etc., kindly note and communicate to the following;
*ATM SAFETY:*
a) *Do not accept 'help' from anyone at the ATM *or 'talk to strangers
whilst drawing money'
These 'perps' are clever manipulators who distract you
b) *Always keep your 'other hand' over the hand entering your pin number*
Cameras are often placed nearby to record your pin number /they look
over your shoulder
c) *Always report a scam as soon as you can*

OPS is now link with the neighbouring areas and can 'track and catch'
if alerted
As these incidents have been under reported, and one report a week at
the moment, we suspect it to be more
