In my reply to him I did include a note that once again the SAPS have no sense of timing and to give 5 days notice for something like that is not acceptable - I think I noted that it appeared as an after thought. Like they were just foing it to get it done - if they truly want to engage with the public they have to have time to publicize the meeting better. I hope they get a good turnout - perhaps I will encourage the OCA committee to meet earlier and have a shorter meeting so we also have the option of attending the Imbizo. The very point I would like tpo put to them in public is the short notice - I would like to hear what they have to say about that. If I am unable to attend I will put that question to Mr Smith to put to the Imbizo. Due to the troubles arround all the fighting at the AGM I did nto want to rock the boat. I will then not be able to go to the Imbizo as I have to chair the OCA meeting. I will send a note to Sgt Malila and Mr Smith (CPF Chair) asking for more advance notice in the future. Perhaps since the folks of Lytton are mobilised you can caucus at your meeting and still attend the imbizo and put some questions to the SAPS!
