A Silver Polo Viva with 4 black males had approached via Nuttall Road to Dane Street at approx 1 am this morning Thursday 7 June 2012. It was noticed by a Waverley security guard. The vehicle stopped in Dane Street near the Waverley business offices, one person disembarked and then tried all the doors to the premises. The guy then saw a Waverley security guard approaching them, the suspect quickly jumped back into the vehicle and then sped off with great haste. Waverley later enquired from another associated security group in Cape Town concerning this vehicle, and was informed that they too saw the same vehicle just earlier on the morning also prowling around.
Please be aware of vehicles moving around suspiciously on our streets by day or night. Note down their numbers and please report it to the OPS and SAPS via emails on this group. SAPS suspects that theft out of motor vehicles are done by a perpetrators being dropped by a vehicle, theys then checks a few cars or houses for opportunities, and later gets picked up again further down the road or around the block etc. Take the registrations or note down the details rather than not doing so. Then report it to us please, you may never know what comes up, comes down or gets prevented.
