I am convinced that getting to know one's neighbours is a good way to counter crime.
In Lytton we are a mixture of people - including many new young house and flat owners, tenants and short term renters of rooms from diverse backgrounds. It was delightful to get to know our neighbours around the braais in the street - faces we had just passed in the street. Now we can mingle more. Thank you to our Obsid and our OPS, Orbis, for the efficient way they closed our street for us (after we had obtained the appropriate permission from the City).
