Dear Friends The Friends of the Liesbeek are hoping to engage with the residents living along the river, as well as listen to the comments and suggestions from members, to be able to draw up a management plan for the entire Liesbeek.
We would like to invite you to participate in an informal workshop on *Thursday 18th October 2012* from *15h00 to 18h00.* At this workshop we will be focusing on the stretch of the Liesbeek that runs downstream from Klipfontein Road to Station Road, including the Two Rivers Urban Park, but feel free to discuss any other issues as well. We will meet in front of The Wild Fig Restaurant, Liesbeek Avenue, Observatory. The workshop will start with a walk along the river, and continue with a structured discussion session at the Wild Fig Restaurant.
