The Wrench road subway was still locked at 7 am this morning, but only on the mountain side. There are a few things that concern me about this, first it would seem that the patrollers are not patrolling as they should be. the other thing is it would appear that it takes two patrollers to lock the gate, one on either side of the railway line, this seems a waste of man power to me, surely on person can lock it by walking through to the one side locking the gate and then walking back and locking the other gate, and the whole process could just as easily be reversed when unlocking. When I went to inform the security at the station I was told that sometimes they are short of staff at night, if this is true it is not what I really want to hear. Is this true? Are our patrollers really under staffed?
