Yesterday morning *18 January 2013 at around 00.15 my wife *heard the sound of a vehicle stop outside my and you properties. When I checked there was no vehicle to be seen. A few minutes later she again heard a vehicle stop and saw a white Toyota parked near your side sliding gate on Cook Street, she then called me to check. I saw a coloured guy with a blue T-shirt standing on the Scott & Cook corner with cellular in hand looking at the boxes but also casing the area, the driver was in the vehicle. I called OPS on the radio, but the chap must've heard me and sheepishly got into the vehicle. They drove off to Rochester Road, turned down the road, then reversed up Rochester and parked just above the Cook Street corner. When I pulled my car into Scott to go and case the joint I saw another coloured guy, but with a brown T-shirt and shorts on your side of Scott Road, but on the Lytton intersection in cellular communication also sussing out the area, he then walked down Scott. By the time I got to Rochester Road the OPS and Premier security vehicles were checking up on the vehicle and the two occupants, but afterwards they let the suspects leave. I followed the vehicle down Rochester into Lower Main towards Obs to see if they would uplift the Brown T-shirt guy somewhere, but somehow lost track of them after they had turned the corner. When OPS notified SAPS to check up on the *white Toyota - CA442850 *they were informed by SAPS that a Honda Ballade was apparently stolen earlier from next to Pepper Square, and might possibility be linked.
