We had a break in - early hours of Thursday morning - probably between 3 and 4am. One of our neighbours also heard shouting around that time.
It appears they came over the back or side wall, forced the french windows and grabbed my handbag and iPad. Thankfully we didn't wake up and neither did our kids! Rich spent a long and trying 2 hours at Woodstock police station but eventually managed to get it reported - the fact that the desk sergeant could bearly read or write English didn't help matters. The tracking app on the iPad showed that it wasat an address in Maitland by 7.30am but the dectectives said tha they couldn't enter without a warrant so short of knocking on the door and asking if they had a stolen iPad. We've been able to remotely lock it and render it useless to anyone else. You can never let down your guard....
