Planning Open Streets on Lower Main Road Together
Your text caption goes here
Join Open Streets Cape Town & the Observatory Improvement District to start
planning the launch of an Open Streets Programme for the City of Cape
Town. The plan is to “open” Lower Main Road in Observatory (from Main Rd to
Albert Rd.) on 25 May, 2013 from 13:00 to 17:00 to people and closing it to
motorized vehicles. This will create a space for residents to interact,
play, or just set up a chair and hang out.
Join us as we plan the first leg which aims to create a network of Open
Streets throughout Cape Town that build on other initiatives like MyCiti
Bus and the World Design Capital Programme of 2014.
*When: *2 May 2013 at 18:00
*Where:* Community Centre, Observatory
