My battered old metal hose reel and hosepipe were removed from my stoep between Monday night and Wednesday morning this week. My own fault for being cavalier about storing it safely but still a bit like losing a really old friend. And today someone tried the story about his dead wife and when I didn't go along, asked for food, and when I didn't do that either he went off and threatened, in Afrikaans, to 'vernietig jou tuin'. Tall, slim dark skinned male with pinkish patches around his mouth - haven't seen him around before. Anyone have advice on where to get a hosepipe and hose reel?
