earlier in the night, three houses in scott rd came to the rescue of a
maltese poodle. she was found wandering in a bewildered state in the
scott rd/wesley st intersection. she was wearing a polar fleece jacket
and collar with no name tag. she wouldn't eat or drink or settle on a
blanket and seemed disorientated. neighbours took her to an all-night
vet where she was checked for injuries. there appear to be none, but
she's completely blind from cataracts, and is dehydrated so the vet has
kept her overnight for rehydration. there are other problems with her
condition that need serious attention.
