Tags are fine - shows they made certain points at certain times there by completing a route. Why not GPS trackers as well - will show what route and will show speed and idle moments.
I thought I had notified you before (but cannot find any emails in this regard) before and I have called the patrol room to ask about it. But often - in fact every time I have been at Spar at closing time (just before nine) three patrollers are alwasy hanging out and once even seemed to be helping with the closing even. Then I saw the reason as I hung back to watch. Out comes someone from the spar with food and drinks. I have witnessed this at least 5 times (not always the food and drink part) but the hanging around at closing time One time it was for at least twenty minutes (probably more) which is 1 man hour - so the rest of Observatory had zero cover while the Spar had maximum cover. GPS trackers would have identified this behavior as soon as it started. Has anyone else noticed this at closing time or even up to 15 minutes or more before closing time? I have never been down there specifically to notice this, but have waited arround to observe when I happened to be shopping near the closing time. I will make an effort to get down there again at closing and see if it is still happening I have some pictures on my phone which I will send to you privately Ursula Trev -- OPS [Obsid Public Safety] - 24/7 control room ---------------------------------------------- 021-447-1066 072-063-1653 For all emergencies please dial 10111 ---------------------------------------------- ONW: 082 081 0142, ONW email: [email protected] WEB: www.obswatch.org.za ---------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups The Observatory Neighbourhood watch group.
