Last Sunday I discovered that my car's battery had been stolen. Upon
opening the boot I found that my brand new Mag spare wheel together with
a bag containing the jack and handle, wheel brace, lock nut spanner and
assorted tools had also been taken. The automatic alarm is still in
working order and I have no idea how they had gained entry to the
interior of the car, the bonnet, and the boot without setting off the
alarm.
I approached the manager of Speedy Tyres and Exhausts, Main Road,
Mowbray, Mr Moonyer (spell) who constructed and fitted a lockable
casing to secure the new battery (new battery
R1 133 without deduction for old casing)
The manager went out of his way to assist me and obtained replacement of
all the items taken from the boot together with a new set of lock nuts
and special spanner.
This gentleman has been most helpful and nothing was too much
trouble!!! Highly recommended!!!
