TO OBSERVATORY NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
I AM A VICTIM OF CAR JAMMING AND IT HAS COST ME THOUSANDS.
DON't become a victim as well !!!!
Car thieves lay in wait loitering on streets or in parked cars outside
banks or suburban streets waiting for a potential victim to arrive.
They hold an electronic device called a scanner which scrambles the
electronic signal from your car's remote control.
When you alight from your car and press the lock button on your remote,
they scramble the electronic signal from your remote using their scanner.
Your car will emit the usual "beep" indicating that the car is locked,
but the scanner will scramble the signal which leaves your car unlocked.
In the early hours they will return and have full access to your car
including the engine compartment and the boot.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DOOR HANDLE BEFORE LEAVING YOUR CAR!!!!!
In the event of you becoming a victim, go straight to Speedies Tyres and
Exhausts on Main Road Mowbray.
Mr Moonsyer (spel?) will be only too happy to give advice, fit a
lockable battery casing if required, and assist you with replacement of
vehicle related stolen property.
This company is truly an asset to our community in times of need.

Scott Road.
