On the Saturday 17th of January, between 19h30 and 00h30. 2 Friends of ours had parked their rented red VW Polo vivo (4000 km) in front of 79 Strubens road. We went out for dinner and when we came back the car had disappeared. No signs of broken windows.
The week before that on the night of the 11th, the back-right window of their first rental car was also smashed. Nothing was taken from the car. On the 23rd of December, the front gate of our house was opened with a shovel (breaking the frame and pushing the latch). One computer was stolen. The computer was bought from a Lucien Mwamba (DRC) and his company "Smartdeals" on Gumtree two weeks later. Busy end/start of year for Strubens criminals.
