I used to have an old Mercedes that needed parts no longer available. My wife’s old car was also very expensive to get parts. I asked around and was told about a place on Voortrekker Road on the left going out about a kilometre after Saltriver bridge (near the scrap yards). They have hundreds and thousands of odd old spare parts and its managed by a troop of dodgy looking people. They do not bother to price things and charge on a whim. I would not be surprised if the majority is not salvaged off the street (ie stolen). They cant pay more than R5 if they sell for R20 Marc
