In the absence of a written guideline available to be consulted it is difficult to say what is an is not acceptable - there are moderators who if they felt it was really inappropriate could have deleted it. I just think it is not to be encouraged as it is not really a concern of the community or a benefit to the community in general. Discussing Mandela actions and smells as a nusiance and helping find lost pets are much more on target of a Neighbourhood watch community in my opinion. I happen to be a moderator of this group but this is my personal opinion and nothing official - of which if there is something not even I have seen it! I would not see fit to delete the message, just tying to educate and stop commercial postings becoming the norm.
