As reported of our facebook page: A woman was robbed of her handbag and laptop in Bowden Road by 4 well dressed black people in a white mercedes. She had parked her car and was going to visit a friend when they attacked her and beat her up. Her screaming alerted the neighbours who through their very efficient whatsapp group rallied around to help but the true hero in this case is one of our members who through very quick thinking reversed her car into the road to prevent them from escaping. They crashed into her car and three of them escaped but the woman was arrested. This woman also managed to alert SAPS who were on the scene very quickly. The stolen handbag and laptop were recovered as well as a number of other stolen bags and laptops in the boot of the car.
