I'm looking at getting some sort of shared storage with a GFS-style filesystem on top of it, so I have no single point of failure or bottleneck like I would using NFS (and have suffered from so far) - is OCFS2 stable? Does it make much sense to use for this?
Right now I have 4 web nodes. Eventually that could grow to 20, who knows, maybe more. I'd love to use Coraid's ATA-over-Ethernet storage as well. Perhaps it does not properly support the semantics required by OCFS2 though (see this thread[1] saying that it doesn't allow for multi-path I/O which I believe OCFS2 would require?) iSCSI would be the next option, just have to find good pricing on that.
