We have 3 nodes RAC 10.2.0.3 running on 64 bits Redhat AS. We use ocfs2 for
Voting, OCR, archive logs, and other files
required for shared on all nodes. The db files are in ASM files system.

-> uname -a

Linux <host1.domain> 2.6.9-55.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Apr 20 16:36:54 EDT 2007 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

-> cat /proc/fs/ocfs2/version

OCFS2 1.2.5 Tue May  1 16:53:31 PDT 2007 (build
0f745576f5282c9408787369d99ba880)

We also have 2 nodes 32 bits Redhad AS for application tier. We have some files
require to share by all 5 nodes.

-> uname -a

Linux <host2.domain> 2.6.9-55.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Apr 20 17:03:35 EDT 2007 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Questions:

1. Can I use OCFS2 to create file system shared by all 5 nodes for
2.6.9-55(3 64 bits and 2 32 bits)? In other
words, does ocfs2 work between 32 bits and 64 bits Linux?

2. What patch I should download for 64 bits Redhat AS same as 1st machine
for ocfs2 version 1.2.7-1? Should I
download 2.6.9-55 EL? This is for different project. Nothing to do with above 5
nodes.
