I thought OCFS2 is designed to be a general file system, different from OCFS, which can only do direct_io. If so, I don't see any issue for Netbackup to backup files from OCFS2 LUN, as long as it is not a database file. Even ORACLE_HOME can be installed in OCFS2 LUN. If so, and Netbackup does not support backing up from there, which would be bad for Netbackup shops.
