Werner,

   Some people reported weird behaviour with SELinux enabled. You could check if it is disabled on the kernel:

$ /usr/sbin/sestatus
SELinux status:         disabled

Err... no. You don't have to mount the volumes on nodes in a specific
order. You should be able to mount in whatever order. I mentioned the
internal logic merely to help you understand the messages in dmesg.

That it is working is great. But it should also work without an ordered
mount.
