Cant believe ive never needed df -I before. Anyway, It now shows 22327336 free. The deletion of those many files is not even half way, and ive now copied the websites to the partition. But I doubt its freed up more than 22million inodes in the mean time. If I see the error again ill be sure to check. No other ideas why it may have happened? Andy..
