Hi, i upgraded an OEL5.4 to OEL 5.9, this machine has an OCFS Filesystem with an OEL6.2 upgraded to OEL6.4. There i got OCFS1.8 but i don't see any news on https://oss.oracle.com/projects/ocfs2/ no release notes, what have changed and so on. OCFS 1.6 is the last version.
Also after upgrading the o2cb Cluster was unable to come online. So i blocked OEL6 to upgrade ocfs and reinstalled "old" 1.6 RPMs for OEL5. so my questions are: 1. what are the differences of OCFS 1.8 over 1.6? 2. are there any modifications (additional to activating xattr on OCFS1.6) to get the cluster with 1.8 running? best regards thomas
