These candidates would be responible for the following: Responsible for managing all aspects of a diverse, medium to moderately complex IT project or multiple IT projects under minimal direction, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost. Serves as a single point of contact for assigned projects and takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to define project scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables (if applicable). Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Ensures adherence to quality standards, reviews project deliverables, and resolves issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met on time and within budget. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. May provide guidance to lower level project managers and contributes to the development of professional project management skills in people here at United. Projects involve multiple disciplines in the IT function. Proven experience in successfully executing complex projects involving multiple disciplines. Thorough knowledge of Project Management processes and tools including MS Project. Experience managing external vendors. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge and expertise in IT process management, design and implementation. *Job Requirements: *REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years project management experience. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and over five years of related experience. Master's degree and/or PMI certification is preferred. Software Tools Minimum Experience Required: - MS Office Suite – 5 years - Proficiency with MS Project – 5 years - Proficiency with MS Access – 5 years - Proficiency with MS Visio – 3 years - Proficiency with MS Project Server or Project Central – 2 years preferred - Proficiency with Mercury ITG Application – 1 year preferred Minimum Job Experience Required: - Excellent understanding of project management processes and reporting i.e.. resource tracking, utilization, forecasting, and resource reporting for IT project demand and supply management - General understanding of IT Governance Processes as it relates to Resource and Business Demand Flow - General understanding of financial management concepts - General understanding of capital and resource budgets - Excellent leadership skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational and analytical skills - Strong persuasion, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Thanks & Regards, Sandy Sr Technical Recruiter Global Computer Products Inc.
