Skill Set: • 5-7 years of experience in: Oracle 9i / 10g Sql, Pl/Sql, Packages, Procedures • Strong experience in Unix K Shell • Erwin Data Modeling (Logical / Physical – Star Schema / Snowflake designs) • Data Warehousing Development experience • Relational and dimensional data modeling experience • Pharmaceutical Experience (prefer: Pharma Contracting / Sales background – experience with IMS 3rd party data) • Good Communication Skills • Knowledge of US Pharmaceutical industry, especially Contracting and Managed Care (including Medicare, and Guaranteed Pricing) is a big plus Pre-requisites: • working with applications specialists (SMEs) to understand the new data requirements • developing or augmenting the logical and physical data models associated with the new or enhanced data • designing, developing, and deploying the ETL software to extract, stage, cleanse, transform and load the data needed • documenting and transferring knowledge regarding the data. • troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting the warehouse and the downstream data feeds sent to consuming applications, analysis and reporting.
